HELP! I bought a desktop from HeidePC from Amazon only 6 months ago (Aug 2009), over the months a few warning signs have occurred as to the quality and honesty of this company. I wrote an email to them and have never received a reply 6 months on!?
The trouble is, now the computer has developed a MAJOR fault where it shuts down without warning! I have just sent a message of complaint and one asking for support, to HeidePC @ http://www.heidepc.co.uk/ and now wait to see if they will honor their 24 month warranty!
I did my research when I bought this desktop and viewed many good ratings – now it appears this company has disappeared…
I will let you know by reply what happens for your future reference but if you can help add your experience of HeidePC that will help me and others know what to expect from them… also can anyone suggest how I can get my money back or sort my PC out if they never respond – can I chase them through the authorities?

Still no answer from HeidePC! Do not go near them with a barge pole! They have ripped me off. Please offer any advice on fixing a hardrive that shuts off without warning – could it be a loose chip or something? Also, can I contact the police or is that too drastic?
